Promises Promises

A little while ago, I was sharing some new plans with someone and they offhandedly commented that I always have lots of plans and many of those plans get left by the wayside. Burn!

I was huffy for a moment before realizing that they were right. I make plans all the time and it's natural that I won't be able to complete all of them. The problem is, I realize I should keep my lips sealed about my ambitions unless I am very certain that I will follow through and I should also make good on some past promises.

So, today I am looking through months of old blog posts and compiling a list of incomplete projects and ideas and adding a new feature to the side bar of my blog (it's just under my shop widget). This feature will be a long-running public to-do list that will remind me of significant tasks that need completing and show my new schemes. It is my accountability device.

I love making lists and I'm especially fond of the cheerful design shown above by The Small Object.

Eeek - you've put it into writing - now you have to follow through.

I suppose that is the point, but still a bit scary.

I love lists! I have a weekly to do list and then I get a sticker on the calendar whenever I get one done.

I'm so in the 2nd grade. ;)

I made a stop motion movie with play doh once. It was about dinosaurs and I was I think 18. Yes, I was super cool.
