I took advantage of the nice bright sunlight streaming into my apartment and styled some new listing images for a few prints that I have in my shop that have not been selling as well as I'd hoped. I think these designs are just as worthy as the others but the pictures I had of them were not so great. So, this will be a little experiment in how much the listing image affects the popularity of the prints. I hope my shop feels more inviting now that I've been photographing my art in scenes instead of just scanning.

Your new products shots are great, particularly enjoy the Epic do gocco one. I'm curious to see if you see a noticeable difference (do keep us in the know!) or if it's the sluggish economy that's effecting sales. My views are down these days...depressing!
My views have been down too. I think everyone has spring fever and is pulling themselves away from their computers. But hopefully this helps you out. Keep us posted!
I do hope you'll follow up and let us know how these new photos do for your sales!!
I have some items that could stand a refresher, but I hate to use the time.

The Hawt sign with that anchor...that is just fantastic styling...love it!
I love your new photos! I usually just scan in my cards and prints, but I really need to do glamour shots, too. It's a great idea.
Thanks for the supportive comments! I think the effort was worth it for a professional shop appearance but my views are slower than ever! It wasn't a very controlled experiment but the photos don't seem to help much. Maybe they are helpful more for getting into shows.
