Spring must be coming...

because I have been on an organization and home improvement kick!

I made my closet more functional for art storage by adding some shelves. I hung a cluster of special black and white art on the last remaining bare wall in my home. I added hooks and a chalkboard to our clutter-attracting entryway and I'm painting the water-stained ceiling tiles in our bathroom. I put up a shelf in our living room and adorned it with a pretty arrangement of special possessions and I may even get around to slip covering our footstools that have been looking bad for over a year! Whew!

I just wish that the place did not have to become so messy in the process of beautification. Alas!

I'm totally in the same mode. It's officially two years in our apartment and it's finally starting to look the way I want it too!
I love the cluster of art, the different shapes and sizes of frames look super together.

DAH! this is what I wish I was doing instead of homework! The wall above our bed is bare as well and I have a stack of things that need to be hung. Hm... perhaps instead of sleeping all weekend I'll look into a spring re-org ;)

I was going to wrire almost the exact same post! The past 2 weeknds I have been completing all those little projects that I have been meaning to do since we moved into our house one year ago. I had the materials, but they were mostly still in boxes. Hey, if you have the tools out, might as well get it all taken care of.

Feels good, doesn't it?

that gathering of frames is fantastic! I'm loving this post especially because it's inspiring me to redecorate some various nooks of my place.
well done!
