Well, Justin and I are back home from Connecticut where my Mom was throwing a big brunch for the family in honor of our marriage. We were lucky to have had a perfect sunny day and tasty food. Mom planned everything so I didn't really know what to expect but she did a fantastic job and I think everyone had a nice time.
Mom wanted me to wear my wedding dress again but I felt awkward about that. We compromised that I could change it up a little for the party. For the party I took out the tulle underskirt and put on a yellow belt and my yellow pumps for a more casual and spring feeling. Justin changed to a yellow shirt too. Matchy matchy!
Connecticut was fun but I am extremely glad to be home now because I got some glow in the dark ink in the mail that I can't wait to experiment with today! Just you wait!

It's coming!
I have to keep telling myself that spring is just around the corner. I'm actually a winter person but my walk to work today in the slush and hail made me feel completely finished with the cold weather. I'm even done with romantic snow!
When I visited my parents this weekend; my mother's crocus were signaling the change and I started getting that feeling of new beginnings. I'm really optimistic about the coming season. I can't wait to bring out my bike and begin wearing my new yellow peep-toe heels!
